Martha Mayhood Mertz is the founder of ATHENA International, a non-profit organization devoted to developing, supporting, and honoring excellence for the qualities that women bring to leadership; to inspiring women to reach their full potential as leaders; and to nurture balance in the voices of leadership worldwide. She is a speaker, author, entrepreneur, and founder and CEO of Mayhood/Mertz Investments, a Michigan-based firm. Recipient of multiple awards, she was honored as a Distinguished Alumna by her alma mater, Michigan State University. Mertz has traveled internationally to share the principles of the acclaimed ATHENA Leadership Model. With her husband, Dr. Edward Ingraham, she resides in Alexandria, VA.
Dr. Judith Prince is Professor Emerita and former Vice Chancellor at the University of South Carolina Upstate. She chaired the Executive Board for the National Network of Women in Higher Education, among other posts, and has received multiple honors and awards. Dr. Prince has served on the Board of ATHENA International and is a recipient of the ATHENA Leadership Award from Greenville Chamber of Commerce. She has led many service organizations in the Greenville community and was the 98th president of the Rotary Club of Greenville.
